Program consultants specializing in sexual health and child development provide education on a broad range of sexual and reproductive health issues.
Support is offered to promote healthy pregnancy and infant development, with the goal of preventing FASD. Staff also partner with local schools to promote positive learning environments and to incorporate traditional activities that focus on positive, healthy family lifestyles.
Promoting healthy sexuality, with a special focus on raising awareness and preventing HIV infection is a high priority. Information and support is also available for individuals and family members living with HIV/AIDS.
The Centre is designated as a Point of Care (POC) test site, which provides rapid, confidential HIV screening. Anonymous testing is available on request.
