{"id":12932,"date":"2025-02-18T09:45:19","date_gmt":"2025-02-18T15:45:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.wnhac.org\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=12932"},"modified":"2025-06-22T00:24:14","modified_gmt":"2025-06-22T06:24:14","slug":"community-wound-care-clinic-nurse-coordinator","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/www.wnhac.org\/?post_type=job_listing&p=12932","title":{"rendered":"Community Wound Care Clinic Nurse Coordinator"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To provide wound care services and coordinate with other wound care service providers within WNHAC and the interprofessional team and other wound care service provider organizations to provide clients a range of treatment services representing both Indigenous and contemporary models of care.<br \/>\nThe Community Wound Care Clinic Nurse Coordinator (CWCCNC) will play a pivotal role in creating an<br \/>\nurban Community Wound Care Clinic (CWCC), which will provide accessible wound care services<br \/>\nemphasizing client-coordinated wound care plans across all sectors within the professional scope of<br \/>\npractice established by the College of Nurses of Ontario.<br \/>\nThis position is part of the Ontario Nurses Association Bargaining unit.<br \/>\n<strong>NOTE<\/strong>: Indigenous traditional practices involve cultural ceremonies and burning sacred medicines<br \/>\nincluding tobacco, sweetgrass, sage and cedar within the work setting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>current registration as an RPN with the College of Nurses of Ontario, and willing to work to a full<br \/>\nscope of practice including performing delegated acts through medical directives;<\/li>\n<li>Registered Practical Nurse specialized in Wound, Ostomy and Continence care certification is<br \/>\npreferred;<\/li>\n<li>Nurses, including new graduates, interested in wound care are encouraged to apply. WNHAC will<br \/>\nprovide up-training and arrange mentorship.
